Overview

Set on nearly two acres of prime oceanfront property in Bolinas, this distinctive mid-century modern retreat combines panoramic Pacific views, architectural character and expansive indoor-outdoor living.

Designed in the early 1960s by renowned Bay Area architect Edward B. Page and believed to be the only Bolinas residence he created, the home is a rare and original example of California mid-century modern design.

The retreat accommodates up to 10 guests across five bedrooms and offers sweeping views from San Francisco to Stinson Beach and Duxbury Reef. A large, level, fully fenced yard provides privacy and room to enjoy the outdoors, while the beach and the heart of Bolinas are only a short stroll away.

Architecture & Great Room

The main floor is designed around open-concept coastal living.

The family room, dining area and kitchen are framed by two dramatic 16-foot retractable glass walls that open completely onto the deck, creating a seamless transition between the interior and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

When the glass walls are open, the great room becomes an exceptional indoor-outdoor living space for relaxing, dining and enjoying the coastal setting.

The downstairs office includes a queen bed and television.

An adjoining bonus room includes a twin bed and can be useful for children or overflow sleeping.

These spaces are additional sleeping areas and are not included in the five-bedroom count.

Dining & Kitchen

The circular indoor dining table seats eight guests, with seating for three more at the kitchen bar.

Outside, the deck includes a dining table for eight, four sun loungers and an oceanfront firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a variety of appliances and conveniences, including a Viking gas grill, latte and cappuccino maker, microwave, juicer, panini press, food processor, pressure cooker, toaster and more.

Pantry staples such as spices and sauces are also provided.

Game Room & Entertainment

The downstairs game room features another retractable glass wall opening directly to the yard.
